All John really wanted was to forget about Christmas. He knew that Delilah celebrated, and he felt a little bad that he was taking that away from her, but he knew that he’d find a way to make it up to her later on. What he really wanted to do right now was drink and dance a little, maybe walk around in the cold for a while. Christmas just hadn’t been the same since he was a child; now, he only had bad memories, and it caused him to be far from festive now.
Running a hand through his long hair to tame it, Jonathan quickly pulled a grey beanie on, shoving a hand into his pocket before he headed off to the bathroom. “Hey.” he murmured, winding an arm around Delilah and turning her with a small smirk. “Ready to go? I mean, we could stay here all night if you want.” he said, letting out a soft laugh before he leaned down to kiss her softly. “But I need a few drinks in me. Promise you won’t have to take care of my drunken ass.”
